Fond memories of the Lord family and the old neighborhood. Ed and Shirley were such wonderful neighbors. Whenever my parents decided to hold a cocktail/dinner party- Shirley & Ed were first on their list. My parents enjoyed their company. My father always loved playing/talking about golf with Ed.....and of course we can't forget their daily morning ritual with the coffee group at Pippin's store on Lyme Rd. Shirley and Ed were so supportive and kind to my parents when their health started to decline with their impromptu visits/calls they made to my father after my mother died. Support and kindness that will never be forgotten. Obviously, Ed was a strong man to have lived in the same house for such a long time after Shirley's death in 2005. My condolences to Sarah and Amy......
